2005 Expedition Departing from Cape Artichesky in northern Russia, the team will travel to the north pole in a more or less straight line (depending on ice drift). Along the way, they will deploy the scientific beacons at regular intervals.
2004 Test Expedition From Longyearbyen in Spitsbergen the expedition flew to Borneo ice base, at 89° North. From there, they made their way to the pole.
