Head

Balaclava, thin. Hat with ear flaps. Sun glasses. Ski-goggle (recommended). LED-head lamp

Body and Arms
Moisture wicking shirt / merino wool is a good option. Thin fleece or thicker layer of underwear. Thin fleece, slightly thicker / fitting over 1st layer. Puff jacket (Optional for in the tent) Windproof jacket (fur ruff optional) / fabric as breathable as possible. Down jacket (Possible to rent).

Hands
Thin liner gloves, 2 pair. Oversized gloves. Fibre pile mittens (HH f.e.). Windproof mittens (fur patch optional). Note: all layers separate. No padded stuff as it will collect sweat and thus ice.

Legs
Moisture wicking pants / merino wool is a good option. Stretch fleece pants. Wind proof pants / as breathable as possible.

Feet
Thin moisture wicking socks Thicker socks (at least a 40% percentage of wool). Plastic bags (vapor barrier). Sorel boots or equivalent (comfortable up to -40 ° C) are provided by Pole Track.

Personal care
Sun cream, lipstick, blister bandage for feet, bandage tape (prevention of frost nips) toothbrush, small towel, etc.

Additionals
Some cash (Euro’s and Norwegian Kroner). Passport, insurance papers, camera (photo and/or video)

Transport
Pulka’s small / small sledges, 1 bigger for tent and floating capacity. Ski’s with relevant binding for shoes (Berwin binding). (Telescopic) ski poles / neoprene or cork insulated shaft.

Sleep /Camp
Tunnel tent, snow flaps. Sleeping bags. Fleece liners.

Kitchen
Stoves (MSR). Fuel bottles. Canisters. Pots. Eating bowls. 2 Thermoses each. Lexan spoons.

Safety / Navigation
GPS. Compass. Map. ELT. Iridium phones. Flare guns. Gun. First Aid kit.

Science
Ice drill. Snow probe. Log.

Food
Dailysnacks: dried meat, nuts, chocolate, fat cheese, rich soup.
Drinks: thee, coffee, hot chocolate, sports drink.
Hot meals: Adventure Food (variation of hot meals).
